Susan Bilheimer's Bio

Susan Bilheimer is a Midlife Mentor who provides women with the benefit of her knowledge, research, and experience as a women going through menopause.
Through her own personal difficulties, frustrations, and hard-won solutions as she went through perimenopause, Susan Bilheimer became an expert in issues surrounding women in midlife, and realized the vital need to provide a place for other women to find information, answers and support, so that they don't have to stumble around in the dark as she did ... feeling alone and crazy in their suffering.
From the age of 42 , Susan suffered with many of the symptoms you'll find on these pages. There was so little information out there, and being far from menopause, she never thought there was a connection between hormones and symptoms. After years of research, Susan became an expert at finding accurate information on an under-reported condition, and decided there was a real need for a central repository just about about perimenopause for women who are way too young to think that their symptoms are related to menopause.
By becoming educated in perimenopause and its symptoms, Susan believes that women will have a voice to ensure they are taken seriously and find the help they need. Susan has now started an organization called the Women's Midlife Support Network, which will expand its resources to help women with additional midlife issues.
Susan has been interviewed on Eye on South Florida and featured in the Sun-Sentinel newspaper for her expertise in perimenopause.
