From my research over the past nine years, I found nearly 40 symptoms of perimenopause and am sure there are many more! Using handouts and an interactive dialog with the group, this lecture gives a brief overview of symptoms that women may have, for which doctors can find no underlying illness.
Unfortunately, many women may experience symptoms of menopause over a decade before its onset, and are confused and upset when doctors do not "connect the dots," and dismiss their symptoms, which may include hot flashes, hormonal migraines, palpitations without any underlying cardiovascular problems, interstitial cystitis, etc.
This uplifting lecture provides vital information to educate women in the symptoms of perimenopause so they will have a voice to ensure they are taken seriously and find the medical help they need.

It is designed especially for women who have never meditated or feel they cannot do so. Participants are provided with a bio-feedback finger thermometer to measure changes in body temperature before and after the session.

Sometimes, all we need is a bit of time on our own and some guidance in how to stop talking and analyzing, to get in touch with that still, small voice inside to find out how we feel about an issue. The truth is, most of the time, we usually know the answer, but the “noise” all around prevents us from hearing it.
Unlike formalized retreats, which are expensive and regimented, this lecture shows women how to get powerful results on their own. Handouts will be provided. |
